NEXIS is a personal self-improvement tracking app. Your data belongs to you. This policy explains exactly what we collect, how we use it, and what permissions we need — and why.
WHAT DATA WE COLLECT
NEXIS collects only the data you actively enter into the app: • Personal stats: age, height, weight, sex, activity level (used solely to calculate your calorie and hydration targets) • Goals, journal entries, daily logs, sleep logs, mood logs, laughter logs, spiritual logs, lift records, workout plans, habit breaker records, relationship notes, calorie and macro logs, hydration logs, energy logs, learning logs, and reminders • Your email address, used for authentication and account identification • Usage data stored by the Base44 platform (the infrastructure powering this app), which may include anonymized analytics All data you enter is associated with your account and stored securely on Base44's servers.
HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
Your data is used exclusively to: • Display your personal progress, history, and stats within the app • Calculate personalized targets (daily calorie goals, hydration targets, etc.) • Power correlations and progress visualizations We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising. We do not use your journal entries, goals, or personal logs for any purpose other than showing them back to you.
DEVICE PERMISSIONS
NEXIS may request the following device permissions: • Notifications — Used only to deliver reminders you configure in the Reminders section. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings. No notifications are sent without your explicit setup. • Internet access — Required to load and sync your data to/from our servers. NEXIS does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, or any other device sensors. All permissions are used only for the feature they describe.
DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
Your data is stored on Base44's secure cloud infrastructure. Base44 uses industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We do not store payment card information. Purchases made within the app are processed securely via Base44 Payments — a hosted checkout handled externally. NEXIS never directly handles or stores your payment details. We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time using the "Delete" option in the navigation bar. Account deletion permanently and irreversibly removes all your data from our servers.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
NEXIS is built on the Base44 platform, which handles authentication, data storage, and app hosting. By using NEXIS, you are also subject to Base44's platform terms and privacy practices. The Knowledge Library embeds YouTube videos via the standard YouTube iframe embed API. When you play an embedded video, YouTube may collect data per its own privacy policy. No other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included in this app.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to: • Access all data you've entered (it is visible throughout the app) • Delete your account and all associated data at any time • Stop using the app at any time without penalty If you have questions about your data or a specific data request, contact the app developer directly.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
NEXIS is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Last updated: April 2026
